Drink your yellow paint, Van Gogh;
you're suicidal. You will be happy tomorrow;
Bright yellow intestines and yellow teeth
will stare at the sunflowers/ that never face your grief,
because the bright joyous sun is right there.
Maybe they will finally stare back at you, not your ears,
and see the gaping hole in your chest, the void
that drinks your yellow whole.
A few reminders:
i) Try to brush your teeth more often.
ii) The hole in your heart won't stay long;
you will be happy.
iii) The green near Auvers will be beautiful and
your chest will be your canvas; a gun your paint brush.
iv) You will never see "Sunflowers" exhibited anywhere
but your guestroom.
Van Gogh, depression and his paintings inspired this. It is about me being happy and suicidal at the same time but mostly about Van Gogh himself. According to his brother, he had no reason to commit suicide and he was happy before he was found wounded.
